This smoothie is creamy, nutty and lightly sweet, with the blueberries bringing freshness and the toasted oats and almonds giving it a more rounded, almost breakfast-shake feel. It is ideal when you need something portable that still feels filling and nourishing so also works perfectly as a post-workout pick-me-up.
Why it’s good for you:
Blueberries help support brain function and protect cells with their antioxidants, while oats provide slow-release energy to help keep you going through the morning. Almonds add healthy fats, vitamin E and a little protein, helping you feel fuller and more focused.
