This breakfast bowl is cool, creamy and full of fresh strawberries. The chia gives it a pudding-like texture, while the pecans add crunch and richness.

Ingredients:

  • 300ml milk
  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g fresh strawberries, chopped (British if in season)
  • 2 tbsp roughly chopped pecans
  • Extra yoghurt to serve, optional

Method:

  1. Stir together milk, chia seeds, honey and vanilla.
  2. Leave in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Spoon into bowls and top with chopped strawberries and pecans.
  4. Add a spoonful of yoghurt if you like.
