Strawberryoffee Pie
Serves 8-10
Prep time 20 minutes, plus setting time
Cook time 5 minutes
Ingredients
225g sweet oat biscuits
110g butter, melted
1 x tin condensed milk
150g strawberries, hulled and sliced
200ml double cream
To decorate:
Strawberries
15g milk chocolate, grated
Method
1. Crush the biscuits in a bag using a rolling pin or in a food processor and combine with the melted butter. Press into the base of a 20cm spring form tin and chill until required.
2. Pour the condensed milk into a small pan and heat gently stirring continuously for around five minutes until it begins to thicken and become fudgey. Stir in the sliced strawberries and spoon over the base, level the surface and chill.
3. When ready to serve, whip the cream until thick and spoon or pipe on top of the base. Decorate with whole or chopped strawberries and sprinkle over the grated chocolate. Serve within two hours of finishing.
