Vanilla French toast with maple syrup, fresh blueberries, blackberries and raspberries
Golden and buttery on the outside, soft and custardy in the middle, this French toast is the sort of breakfast that feels like a real treat. The vanilla gives it warmth and sweetness, while the fresh berries add brightness and a lovely sharpness that balances the maple syrup beautifully.
Why it’s good for you:
The berries bring antioxidants that help protect your cells from damage and support brain health, while giving you a naturally fresh start to the day. Eggs provide protein to help repair and maintain muscle, while milk adds calcium for bones and teeth.
